The Story
Traditions bring meaning to celebrations and help us bond with each other over shared experiences. They add a certain spirit that nurtures connection in the community. Every fall, our community has local class parents in partnership with the teacher, school and students work together to create a scarecrow. Businesses and charities will build them too. It's really fun to see them lining the streets. This year, school was virtual and I wasn't sure if the scarecrows would be decorating our town. I was so excited when I saw them popping up. Their color and creativity was fun to see.
